Party Recap

I always do a big celebration for my kid's 3rd birthdays. My little guys is a sweet tooth so I thought the Candy Land theme would be perfect for him! Since his birthday is in March and the weather is too cold/unpredictable we rented a historic house that was a perfect setting for the party. The plan was to create a life sized candy land game with the little 'lands' (Snowflake Lake with snowflakes hanging, peppermint forest with candy cane trees, lollipop lane, gumdrop pass, and Grandma Nutt's house). In addition to the game we also had other activities for the kids: candy castle photo prop, gingerbread house making, candy necklace making with Fruit Loops, candy crowns to make, peppermint stick drop, and face painting. We also set up a sweet shoppe where the kids could help themselves (of course we provided toothbrushes too!) We had so much fun celebrating my little guy's birthday!
