Let's Fly Away

I enjoyed this styled shoot for the Spring/Summer Issue of Birds Party Magazine. The inspiration started with the printables designed by Bird herself, but as a fan of the Disney movie Up, it was easy to take it from there. I wanted to focus on the adventure within the movie; the flying planes and blimp, Kevin and bright colors of all the balloons.
The foundation of the color scheme was the sky blue and sage green from the invitation but with pops of colors that resonate from the well known balloons. I wanted to make sure it was still a boy’s party by adding some burlap in the mix.
Fun sweets abound in this 1st birthday adventure! Russell’s Cake, Carl’s Cakepops, Muntz Macarons, Ellie’s Oreos and lots of Kevin candy!
The adventure continued with the Adventure hand glittered muslin baggies filled with sweets, and Adventure Mailboxes delivering more fun inside. I hope you enjoy all the eye candy!
