Little Man Party

We had a Little Man themed party for our son's first birthday and encouraged everyone to wear ties. We had a little man town made out of cardboard boxes and a photo booth with mustache props. Guests drank root beer out of bottles through mustache straws.

• What People Ate

  A variety of pizzas- our little man's favorite food, bow-tie pasta, breadsticks shaped like neckties, salad with little man veggies (baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, baby corn), and spinach artichoke dip

• What People Drank

  Bottled root beer out of mustache straws, and Arnold Palmers (lemonade mixed with iced tea)

• Desserts

  Chocolate mustache shaped pops, caramel corn in paper cones, cookies and milk mustaches (mini milkshakes), salted caramel cupcakes, and a smash cake for the birthday boy.

• Party Favors

  I made bow ties for the guys and hair bows for the ladies. We also had lollipops with a paper mustache attached to the stick so it looked like people had mustsches when they sucked on their lollipops.

• Activities / Games

  The kids played in our "Little Man Town" made out of cardboard boxes- there was a grocery store, restaraunt, car repair garage, and vet office. They also decorated paper doll men with ties, mustsches, and wiggly eyes. We played pin the tie on a picture of the birthday boy. The prizes were those funny glasses with the nose and mustache and those little games with the bald man inside and you use a wand to put hair and a beard on him. We also had a mustache shaped piñata.
