Megan's Sweet 16 Parisian Soiree

For this Sweet 16, the birthday girl wanted a Paris themed party but instead of the pink color usually associated with the city of lights, she wanted to have her favorite color instead-purple! Guests were invited with purple passport invitations with a picture of the party girl inside; requesting that they come dressed to impress! Custom made games and favors were a huge hit with guests. I made special party cups as well, "lace stemware" for the guests to drink from. Small chandeliers hung above the party table and helped to set the mood. Special treats filled the table-eclairs, cream puffs, handmade truffles, candy dipped Oreos, vanilla meringues, even the cupcake toppers were handmade Eiffel towers! Each guest was asked to fill out a Parisian inspired postcard for the birthday girl with either their favorite memory with her, or a wish for her future. The guests played games that included building an Eiffel Tower, and a custom made game where guests had to say things in French only! It was a beautiful day! There was also Guitar Hero set up for the guests who didn't want to participate in the other games, It was a Sweet 16 party after all, so not only did I have to think about the girls, but the guys as well! Guests were able to fill up treat bags as they left and were also asked to take a lipstick ink pen, "M" monogrammed lollipop, and Bath & Body Works "Paris" scented lotion as a favor from the day!

  The entire party was like dessert!! But like any party, the cupcakes and ice cream were the best dessert! The cupcakes had mini purple Eiffel Towers topping them!
