Mikaela's Enchanted Forest Party

Originally, we were going to have the Enchanted Forest party in the back yard but, rainy weather kept us indoors. It rained ALL day!!! Despite the gloomy weather our little fairies & gnomes still had a great time! I decorated with toadstools, tissue paper owls, fairy/gnome houses (birdhouses) and pocket fairy & gnome dolls. Instead of bags full of candy, Each girl got a tutu, wings, matching wand, pocket fairy doll & the bird house that they decorated. Each boy got a red gnome hat and white beard, a bug kit, a pocket gnome doll and the bird house that they decorated. Food included Sparkling Fairy Juice (sparkling apple cider) Squirrel Puffs (German Chocolate Mini Marshmallows), Forest Critter Cookies (Lavender Shortbread Cookies), Gnome Munch (White Cheddar Popcorn), Twigs & Berries (Homemade trail mix), Freshed sliced fruit & veggies with Forest Fairy Dipping Sauce (a spiced peanut butter sauce), and finally, the Toadstool Cupcakes (Pumpkin Spice cake w/ Maple Butter Cream Frosting). Due to the weather the children were unable to go on the planned fairy hunt so for the activity, they all decorated their fairy/gnome houses with paint, moss & pebbles.

• Activities / Games

  Decorating Fairy/Gnome Houses. And due to the poor weather, playing in the playroom.

• Party Favors
