Party Recap

This was a "Remember When" party, looking back to the 20's thru the 80's! I've always been interested in the 50's, but decided to go all out and have each area of my home represent a different decade! We turned my basement into The Roaring 20's, with a silent movie, big band jazz music, gangsters and flappers.....and this was were the "bootleg" liquor and appetizers were. We also had a gambling table set up. Up in the kitchen was the 50's diner, with root beer floats, burgers, chili dogs and other diner favorites! We had oldies music playing. The dining room was the Groovy 60's and 70's dessert area! The entry way was dedicated to the 80's; fun movie posters, Atari game system, old 45's, and a retro candy area! I had 80's music playing. Each guest was to come dressed to represent their favorite decade! It was a blast to plan, and a good time was had by all!
