Party Recap

The morning was a rainy day so everything had to be brought inside...rocket launches, pinata and all!

The kids loved shooting off the stomp rocket and hand rocket into our vaulted ceiling. My dad made an amazing rocket that now resides in our backyard. The food was delicious with pastas (Gluten-free too) and homemade marinara and Alfredo sauces since our oldest is allergic to garlic and gluten. The cake was gluten free and my first attempt at something more difficult than a round fondant cake. I think it'll be my last! I was glad that it turned out okay, but boy, was I stressed out! The kids had a great time taking turns at the pinata. I'm so glad that my wall didn't end up with a hole in it...that's always a possibility. All in all, Paxson loved spending time with his friends and that was the best part of the day.

I couldn't find an "old school" rocket printable that was simple. Michelle with Printabelle is so easy to work with. I emailed a link to my inspiration piece (the napkin) and told what I was hoping for and she created it quickly. Thanks, Michelle!http://printabelle.com/
