Perla's Dog Birthday Parade

We celebrated the first adoption year of our lovely rescue dog Perla. Since the beginning I wanted something colorful. I love animal parade and carnival themes. I tried to combine them with a twist to make something special for my dog. As Perla is a rescue dog, I incorporated to the theme the message about the importance of “adopt, donate and educate about animals”. Instead of presents, Perla solicited dog food to donate for an animal rescue organization. I made a candy bar parallelism for dogs and people guests. Every sweet had like corollary a dog treat. There was a legend to differentiate between dog’s or human’s (a heart for pet lovers, a paw for pets). Pet lovers had a snow cone station. And to animate the party we made balloon animals.
