Party Recap

For my son's 9th Birthday we celebrated at home with some Pizza and a Movie with a few of his friends! l wanted to make it feel a little special for him so we transformed a little corner of our lounge room into a candy bar and l also made up some dessert meal trays complete with mini burger cupcakes, sugar biscuit french fries and popcorn ice cream! In keeping with this theme l created a Pizza Blondie Cake for his Birthday Cake and used an old kitchen trolley which we transformed into a candy and soda station! This party was done on a shoe string and only cost just over $100 in total including all food to put together! I used printables from Poshtique on Etsy (which l received as a gift) and found the stripe material and perspex stars at a thrift store for a bargain price of $10. The Jars l found at my grandmothers and my hubby created the canopy for the candy bar using some dowel we already had and some material which cost me $7. The decorations cost $6 then the party ware and containers cost $12. The cake and desserts cost $12 to make and candy was $25 and we ordered takeaway pizza's for $35.
