"Hendrix's First Birthday"

I was inspired by a yellow-themed party I saw on another blog and I thought it was so smart to just make the theme a color because it seemed less limiting. Besides, a one-year old doesn't know what they are into yet, might as well make it something you like! I just bought some yellow and black fabric, and a few other yellow things for decorations. I found cupcake toppers and other printables online and just changed the colors to match. My mom made the delicious cupcakes and my husband made everything for the taco bar.
We invited a wide age-range of kids to the party, and we wanted to make it fun for them AND their parents. So we had easy crafts for the kids, a photobooth area for everyone to enjoy, and beers on the porch for the dads :) Everyone had a wonderful time!
