Party Recap

When my sons babysitter told me how much he enjoyed watching MMCH i knew right away this was the theme i would go for his 1st birthday. With the help of my Cousin, Jessie and my family we set off into our party planning adventure and had such a fun time making everything. Even though we used a lot of the store bought theme decorations we changed a lot to give it a bit more personalization. Hope you guys enjoy as much as we did.

Hi Courtney... First of all i used table cover rolls, long pieces of wood, tape, and hammer and nails to attach it to the wall. Measure the length of the wall your planning to cover, then you cut each of the table cover rolls to the same length leaving a few inches to spare. We used scraps of wood we had laying around so be creative and don't buy if you don't have to. Each piece of wood was about 4 inches wide and 4 feet long (you can cut them however length you want). I used heavy duty tape to attach the table cloth to the wood and as i would tape it i would gather the table cloth just a little bit to give it the drape look and repeated for all the colors until i ran out of space. Repeat until you have made enough to cover your space. Then nailed it to the wall. It is quite time consuming so i would recommend doing it in advance. This is what worked for me I'm sure there is other ways but i hope this helps.

Hi Kristen, we just cut out strips of paper and cut of letters and used little pieces of wood to stick it in the grass. All from our local dollar store! Really easy!

Hi Amy! They are floral wreaths from our local dollar store and i wrapped them in ribbon also from the dollar store. I used a hot glue gun to keep the ribbon down. Hope this helps! :)
