If i could describe my wedding in one word it would be very simple: Fairytale !
A fairytale dressed in lavender & roses..
It's not a coincidence that my husband and I chose the magical Santorini for our wedding.
I've been visiting Santorini for the last 16 years and together with my husband 8 years. We fell in love with this island from the very first moment, and the best part is that he proposed me there 2 summers ago, on our summer vacation ... i will never forget it.

Together with my sister, Tina , we owe our event management company, Elite Events Athens, that specializes in destination weddings. As we have always done for our future brides when they come to us to organize their wedding, my sister and I devoted a year into planning my dream wedding as well.

The first thing i knew for sure was that on my wedding day i couldn't wear anything less than a Peter Langner wedding gown. We work very closely with City Bridal Exclusive Boutique in Athens that brings all the bridal collections of Peter Langner, so from my experience in the wedding industry i have always loved Peter's designs. The moment i tried my 'Iris' wedding gown i knew this was it... MY dream wedding gown!

No need to say that my wedding day was honestly the best day of my life, or shall i say the best weekend because except from my wedding, the previous night we organized an amazing and exotic beach party for our friends and family, at a magical beach bar, Theros in Vlychada. Our pre-wedding beach party started with welcome cocktails and finerfood and ended with lots of drinks, dancing, singing karaoke, flying wish lanterns and many more surprises for our guests.

Our wedding ceremony took place at the picturesque church of St. Mark (Agios Markos) in Imerovigli & the reception was held in Rocabella Resort & Spa.
The theme of the wedding was lavender and the flowers we used were roses and lavender, ofcourse! The 'Ocean Song' roses variety arrived from Ecuador & the florist of Elite Events Athens created fairy flower arrangements; she made Carousel shaped constructions with hanging orchid flowers & fragrant wreaths with fresh lavender. The whole decoration that followed was in lavender and white colors, and everything was organized perfectly from the first to the last detail, by Elite Events Athens team. The view and the scenery of Santorini sunset plus the flowers, setup and decoration were simply stunning !!!

The 'Save the Date', invitations and favors (bonbonieres) were from Elite Events Athens Exclusive Collection , that came from Elite Events Athens company in London (Elite Events London) and can be found at Elite Events Athens atelier. For the ladies we chose clear Swarovski crystal necklaces and for the men a set of Spa Products, and all were placed inside handcrafted square boxes and pouches - always in lavender concept and wrapped up in lavender ribbons -

Our fairy lavender wedding finished early in the next morning wihile dancing, laughing, drinking, listening to a wondeful string quartet and watching fireworks appearing in front of us...

The next day we went with our photographer and videographer for our location shooting (after wedding shooting) in Amoudi and Oia. Let me say it was simply amazing !!I All couples should do it because it's a unique experience, really unique!

So many surprises and beautiful moments in one weekend that I even didn't know and that Elite Events Athens team had managed to keep them secret for one year... Everything was organized so well and to the last detail and I surely didn't expect to live this fairytale.
