Sarah's Second Birthday Party

Sarah lives in Melbourne with her Mum and Dad so she's quite a distance from the rest of her family. She didn't have a party at home so when they visited a month later we decided to throw a party for Sarah with all of her cousins, Aunties and Nana and great-Nana.

• Best Dressed

  The birthday girl of course, dressed in a purple tutu made by her mum.

• Activities / Games

  Sarah's mum had the kids playing pass the parcel, there was a butterfly pinata and a hide and seek game with prizes galore.

• Best Moment

  Sarah was just overwhelmed by it all so it was just a constant joy to see her enjoy her party.

• What People Ate

  Sarah loves eating Freckles so there were lots of those. We had Tim Tam Pops covered in hundreds and thousands. Cupcakes with purple butterflies, butterfly (hershey's) kisses, fruit kebabs and some savouries for the adult guests. Sarah's cake was a chocolate layer cake that her great grandmother used to make.

• What People Drank

  Apple juice, water and milk served in glasses rimmed with hundreds and thousands.
