Party Recap

chandler turned 3 years old on Easter Monday, so we decided to celebrate his 3rd birthday on Easter Sunday. I decided to go with a “peter rabbit” theme, since it was on Easter. luckily after ordering a few peter rabbit books and DVD a couple months ago, chandler quickly fell in love with the stories. his excitement and fear of mr.mcgregor was a joy to watch each time! a fun theme to play with. and most of the decor was edible!

a carrot (birthday) cake of course was so absolutely perfect! made by such a sweet girl, brittney. i gave her a few ideas of what i had like, and she nailed it! such a talent she has, not only making delicious cakes but, sculpting and molding fondant into what looks like real life (miniature) vegetables and of course peter!

if my guests’ didn’t enjoy easter dinner, then they were for sure to have full bellies after dessert, along with carrot cake, we had marta’s cookies. she also perfected a painted peter rabbit cookie, 3’s & carrots., carrots in “dirt cake”, acorn squirrel treats and bunny tails!:)

mr.mcgregor’s garden table scape. edible creations for the win!
