Party Recap

We had such a beautiful event! Since this was my 2nd child, it wasn't a full blown shower. We kept it small and intimate. I wrote a poem for the invitation:
"Mommy daddy & nathan are excited to say, their family is growing by a sweet little one and she's coming in may. we have mostly everything we need at our humble abode, the only thing she could use is a fabulous wardrobe. any gifts can come unwrapped for all to see what a stylish little lady our daughter will be. it will be a fun afternoon with friends and family we look forward to sharing our excitement for our precious new baby"

From the simple centerpieces accompanied by baby girl socks to the pink pom-pom toothpicks. It was more than I could have asked for!

Party Highlights

  • Desserts

A delicious strawberry shortcake giant cupcake and french cookies sat on pink cotton candy!

  • Activities / Games

We only planned one activity but it was a perfect one. I do graphic design so I created "Dear Baby" cards where guests filled in hopes & dreams for my baby girl.

  • Party Favors

We purchased all girly items! Pink nail polish, compact mirrors, candles and incense and pink earrings are just a few. Attached to each with pink raffia were "thank you" tags.

  • Best Moment

Listening to all of the wonderful & funny hopes for my daughter.

  • What People Ate

We had a variety of tea sandwiches & hot appetizers including mushroom risotto balls, chicken and cilantro dumplings & quiches.

  • What People Drank

We froze raspberries to put in water, a punch made of ginger ale, cranberry juice and sherbet and lastly mixed fruit Arbor Mist.
