Sweet Peter Rabbit 1st Birthday Party

When I was pregnant, Baby Gap came out with a Peter Rabbit line of clothes. I fell in love with the displays and clothing, and decided then and there that would be my daughter's first birthday party! I used Beatrix Potter line art and illustrations which I had printed and then mounted on foam core. I used linens we had purchased for our wedding, and DIY-ed all the decor.

  Veggies from Mr McGregor's garden, sandwiches, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, doughnuts, cake, cookies.

• What People Drank

  Two types of punch, water, juice, a selection of wine and beer.

• Desserts

  Gorgeous cake by Truffle Cake & Pastry in Toronto, cookies by Sugar Cubed Creations in Milton, and doughnuts from Daddy O Doughnuts in Mississauga.
