Party Recap

Let me start off by saying that I literally planned this End of The Year banquet in less than 7 Days, but if God created earth in 7 days why couldn't I pull this off. Anywho, the theme that I was originally going with was just not working out. I had this huge elaborate plan to do all this cheerleading stuff, and it just wasn't coming together as I would have liked. So the Monday of the week of the party I began my Amazon binge and ordered everything I could possibly think of to bring this party together. The theme "X Marks The Spot" fit perfectly, since my daughter's team are the Pirates.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

We decided to have the party at a restaurant so we wouldn't have to deal with buying and cooking food. Bee O' Bradys has a party room that my mother reserved for us, and everyone was able to order if they wanted to and if they didn't that was fine.

  • Desserts

I did a full out Captain's Dessert Table with all the trimmings. I had a specialty cake ordered with my daughter and her teams pictures through out the entire season. I ordered red and black cupcakes, cake pops, donuts and popcorn. I also binged in Walmart and bought a mountain of candy as well. You can see all the elements in the pictures.

  • Party Favors

I didn't do party favors, the only thing I did do was have each of the girls name created in a way that was unique to cheerleading and used that as a place setting at each of their seats that they got a chance to take home.

    Party Coordinator

I would be remised if I didn't give a shout out to my party coordinator and best friend Fania Robinson of The Beauty Suite Events. She came in at the nick of time when I got sick at the last minute and put everything together for these girls. So very thankful for her.
