Party Recap
We hosted a simple party from the privacy of our neighborhood beach. IT was the perfect setting for a laid back affair! We played several original games and ended with a water fight between the dads and kids :)
Party Highlights
-
Best Moment
Watching the daddies and kids have a water fight with my homemade water bombs.
-
Funniest Moment
when the daddies were involved in the relays and raced with a giant ball squeezed between their legs as the kids cheered them on - they were so serious and looked so silly!
-
Most Touching Moment
After the party, we had a house full of people for hours. Right before she went to bed, the birthday girl stopped and said she had the bet birthday ever.
-
Best Dressed
The birthday girl of course! Her one-strap pink and white striped dress had an oversized bow on the shoulder and her custom hair bow was the cherry on top! She looked adorable!
-
Desserts
a beautiful cake was served after the birthday song :) We also had lemonade and strawberry cake pops, strawberry cupcakes and lemon cookies
-
Party Favors
Each guest received a beach bucket with tools to play in the sand, a custom lemon sugar soy chapstick, lemon lollipop and bubbles. The kids loved the favors and didn't want to stop playing on the beach.

Activities / Games
announced that, in celebration of Z's birthday, we were having o-LEM-pics. Some games would have a prize, some would require a team but all would be lots of fun. The first event was the coloring contest. I gave 5 minutes to color the sheet. The person with the most colored and best all around won. o-LEM-pic event #2? The Lemon Drop. The person with the most bounces of the ball on their head won! o-LEM-pic event #3? The Lemon Squeeze. 2 relay teams had to race to the water with the ball between their legs. The last leg of both teams were dads, Chaz Moore and Mike'ToneKidd' Nunnally. The girls had fun but they had MORE fun cheering these silly daddies on. Event #4? The Annual Birthday Dance Contest. Each contestant had their turn to wiggle, jump, dance, flip and more. While the judges deliberated, I turned on The Wobble and the kids got down!
