This dishwasher-safe Sharpie mug DIY is the perfect handmade gift that takes very little effort and looks absolutely fantastic.

The paint bakes into the ceramic, so the design won’t wash off, and they are perfectly safe to drink out of. Enjoy your coffee in your new mug!

Directions:

Follow the directions on your oil-based Sharpie pens to get the ink flowing.

Simply add small dots in each color to cover your “confetti” mug.

You can also make a polka dot heart using the same dot technique.

If you want to add a letter or image, place your scrapbook sticker on the mug.

Then add your dots around the sticker in your desired colors.

Remove sticker when complete.

Place mugs on a baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Leave mugs in the oven to cool. Make sure to use proper ventilation was cooking mugs.
