Check out my delicious Chocolate Cake Batter Cookies With Cookies and Cream!
I have been dying to make cake batters cookies for some time, so I was excited when Safeway asked me to use Betty Crocker™ and Hershey’s® products to come up with an easy dessert recipe that would work great for the holidays.
It's that delicious, sticky time of year when we start our holiday baking. It's a family tradition to bake cookies and wrap them up for our friends and neighbors for the holidays.
So this weekend, we decided to take our traditional chocolate crinkle cookie recipe and see what happened if we put a caramel in the middle of each one. Well, guess what? It worked! The cookies had a rich dark chocolate flavor, and the sweet creamy caramel added the perfect touch. It's like a little surprise inside. :)
My husband and I were recently sharing favorite food memories, and he told a story of how when he was little, and had dinner at his grandmother's house, he'd get to go into her refrigerator, pull out the chocolate syrup, and pour it all over his vanilla ice cream all by himself. He was so proud of himself and the ice cream tasted so good.
He said a lot of times it got super messy, but his grandma didn't mind. Aren't grandmas great?
We were given a basket of goodies from Kraft and asked to come up with our own recipe. How fun, especially when the basket contained two of my favorite ingredients.... chocolate and marshmallows!
I knew instantly I wanted to make cookies. But sometimes it's hard to add marshmallows to cookies because when you bake them, the marshmallows can sort of evaporate.
