Airplane 1st Birthday Party
ByParty Recap
My husband became a pilot about a year before our son was born, so we knew that if we were to ever have a little boy, that everything we could make, would have an airplane theme. Nursery, 1st birthday, and the list goes on. :) I am obsessed with entertaining and throwing parties, so for my sons birthday, I wanted to make it very special for him. We had tons of sweets, games and fishing for the kiddos, all while the parents could relax with a glass of wine if they wanted to. I had all of the guests write a personal message to my son, and put it in a time capsule for him to read on his 20th birthday. He had a blast ripping in to the cake, and needless to say we were up all night! :)

We had sooo many sweets! Cupcakes, cake, cake-pops, ice cream, rock candy, sixlets, cherry sours, airplanes made out of candy, rice krispy treats, and the list goes on!

What People Drank
To stay with the color scheme, we had red and blue fruit punch, but also bottled water with a custom bottle wrapper with airplanes!

Best Moment
The best part of the party was when my son began digging in to cake for the first time, and a stray dog ran up and started chowing down on the cake right in front of all of us!

Airplane 1st Birthday Party
I started planning my sons first birthday party the day I found out I was pregnant. This birthday was a special year, so I wanted to make it extra special for my little boy. Airplanes were every where, in an aqua and red color scheme.
