Aarrggh!!? I am jealous!lol what a fantastic looking party with lots a tasty looking food, too. I, do, love the way you guys can take your celebration to a public park. The set up most of been well organized and well before the date!? Your son's pirate pants and shirt was absolutely adorable. Creative and appears you thought of everything, right down to the props for memory taking! I viewed this party for inspiration for my granddaughter' s 3rd birthday. She was given a choice between Minnie Mouse & Jake & Neverland Pirates and, of course, she chose the pirates! Being the only girl in our family, I was hoping for lots of pink and frills, however, your party was so inspiring that I just changed out a few colours for pink and added a mermaid or two and it was a little pirate girl's dream birthday!! My hats off to you for transforming the park into an island oasis for all your little pirate's!

Hi Joelene. I made my own treasure maps with my graphics program to correspond with the treasure hunt skit and set up. I purchased paper that looked like an old scroll from Office Depot and printed my map onto the paper, rolled them, and tied them with twine. The compasses were purchased at Hobby Lobby in the Party section of the store.
