Party Recap

I had a great time planning my son's 1st birthday party! It was themed Frog Prince and I had a lot of fun incorporating that into the party. For me planning the party was a nice outlet of something to think about besides daily tasks and work.

    Decorations

Grandpa Shorters is the best gift store I have ever been to! And, believe me I have been to a lot of them and all over the country too!
I found the frog prince napkins, favors and awesome crown cupcake holders there! The watermelon dishes, straws and frog cookie cutter was from there as well.
I would highly recommend them for all your party & gift needs. There is no one better!http://www.facebook.com/GrandpaShorters

By labeling the garbage, dirty dishes and sink for dirty glasses allowed for much easier cleanup.

We made cream cheese & ham and cream cheese & cucumber sandwiches and then cut them out with a frog cookie cutter. Making then into a caterpillars was sure fun with local tomatoes for the heads and skinny candles for the feelers.

You can also see the ice cream we had pre scooped in the little treat cups with spoons already included. We handed them out on platters ready to go! Love no scooping at the party!
