Party Recap

My daughter is in LOVE with Pinkalicious, so we set the entire party around the book. I made pink cupcake invitations, and decorated the entire house in pink, pink, PINK! The crafts and games also reflected different parts of the story, the buffet was all green food, and the Pinkalicious dessert table was sure to give everyone Pinkatitis!

This party is posted on my blog at: http://theshowerplanner.blogspot.com/2011/12/pinkalicious-birthday-party.html

Party Highlights

  • Best Dressed

    Everyone, because everyone wore PINK!

  • Desserts

A giant strawberry "cupcake" cake, strawberry cupcakes with strawberry whipped cream, cupcake pops, pink and white layered jello squares, oreo truffles, individual strawberry ice cream sundaes, individual strawberry shortcakes, fruit, and pink candy!

  • Activities / Games

We read the story of Pinkalicious before dinner, had an arts and crafts table where guests could make their own wand, crown, and cupcake bank, and we played "Pin the Cherry on the Cupcake".

  • Party Favors

Each guest left with their activities from the arts and crafts table (a cupcake bank, wand, and crown), "Pinktails" that I had made and each guest received, and each child had a Pinkalicious favor box that contained a wand, purse, jewelry, notepads, and other little toys.

  • Best Moment

Singing happy birthday to my little girl...ALWAYS the best moment.

  • What People Ate

Green food for dinner, and pink, pink, PINK dessert!

  • What People Drank

Pink lemonade, Pinkalicious water bottles, and pink "jelly" shots!

  • Funniest Moment

Watching my almost 90-year-old grandfather eat pink jelly shots while wearing pinktails!

That's so great to hear, love it! Be prepared to read that book over and over and OVER again, lol, and there's also Silverlicious, Purpleicious, Goldilicious, etc. : )

I actually made it out of a styrofoam circle that I wrapped in ribbon and hot glued flowers to. I attached a pink-tinged black and white photo behind it, and hung it with a ribbon loop. I actually still have it if you're interested! (I'm assuming, without the picture of my daughter, lol!)
