Ice Cream Shoppe
ByParty Recap
This was a fun little party I threw for a few of my friends and their kids. I reused a number of items from various other events I'd done (or was about to do) and had a budget of $30. As I was purchasing, from what I could tell, I was right on budget. But when I added up everything, I realized that I’d forgot to calculate the favors into the mix. Oops! Plus, I decided I didn’t want to make a bunch of different cookies, so I splurged and bought a container of cookies from Costco, knowing it would send me over budget. Without those two items, however, I would have spent a little less than $27 to have this party (with them, my budget ended up being just under $45). And we all got to eat ice cream, so it makes up for everything. =)
I made mini waffle cones from pizzels; we shoved a mini marshmallow in the bottom to prevent the ice cream from dripping. They were a huge kid with the little kids!
