For decorations, I made a fabric bunting, tissue paper poms and a hand painted ice cream shop sign.
For food we had chocolate covered marshmallow pops, chocolate covered pretzels, cupcakes, chips & MMs. And you can't have an ice cream party without a toppings bar! We had 5 flavors of ice cream to choose from. I made a menu sign so the kids could pick their flavor while keeping the ice cream in the freezer. For toppings we had several types of sprinkles, crushed Oreos, cherries, MMs, strawberries, whipped cream, gummy bears & peanuts. We also had 3 different flavors of syrup, 2 candy shell coatings, bananas and 2 different types of cones.
I made her a 6 scoop t-shirt to wear for the party (6 scoops for 6 years). I used the same fabric that I had used in the bunting. I also made a cake topper with a clothespin doll & a large number 6. I don't know why I don't seem to have pictures of the goody bags, but I made ice cream cone crayons to go in them.
The cake was colored pink & blue inside. I cut cones in half and surrounded the cake with them. I filled each cone with a bit of marshmallows (so it didn't take so much frosting) and added pink & blue frosting to each one.
This party was a year ago so I'm sure I'm forgetting some things! Feel free to ask.
