Party Recap...
The mom of the boy and girl twins asked me to make a dessert table based on the book The Little Prince, by a French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It is a children book but its full of beautiful quotes and very poetic. It's a big hit in Brazil, but its usually for a boy's party.
The book tells the story of a prince that leaves his planet and his rose to explore the universe and finds out that the rose is the most important thing in his life. It has a special meaning to her and she asked me to emphasize this caring relationship between the prince and his rose on the table, representing the love and care between the siblings. So we decided to do all the girly part representing the rose in pink and red and the boyish prince part in blue.
And the quotes and the little heart bunting between the two cakes represent the love between the siblings.
