Party Recap
For my baby girl's second birthday I've decided to create a party inspired by the sun, since she loves sunny days and always asks me to draw the sun and put a smile on it. It was the first time in my life I've done all the party decoration by myself. I had tones of fun doing it and I've worked a lot to get it all done before my due date (my baby boy was born just 13 days before the party).
Party Highlights
-
Best Dressed
The birthday girl, for sure. :)
-
Desserts
We had the cake, cupcakes and tipical brazilian sweets: brigadeiro and beijinho.
-
Activities / Games
We had a "balls pool" for the kids. I don't know how you call it in english, is like a big box full of plastic balls for the kids to play.
-
Budget
I did all the decoration by myself, so the entire party was unexpensive.
-
Best Moment
When we sang "Happy Birthday to You" Malu was so excited, clapping her hands, smiling... it was great. And at the end of the party she made a big mess with her cousins, it was great too.
-
What People Ate
Here in Brazil we usually eat salty pastries at b-day parties. We had 3 diferent pastries.
-
What People Drank
It was a family party so we had soft drinks only. Coke and Guarana for the grown ups, grape and peach juices for the kids. And water.
