Party Recap

Loved this party! Got alot of the inspiration from another party on here (the one in Australia I think). This is my first party to post on here so I will definitely try to give credit where credit is due.

I love the mermaid tutu dress. What are the scales on the top made of? I tried going to the Etsy site, but it appears the store is temporarily closed. I would love to make this for my nieces birthday party.

I think the scales were made out of some type of organza fabric. Very sheer, but almost stiff as if they were sprayed with starch perhaps. Not sure exactly. But it was many circles overlapping each other and I believe they were just glued down if I remember right. Sorry I can't be more help... I sold the outfit or I'd look at it again. Good luck!

Thank you! I thought it might be organza. I am working on it tonight and hope it turns out.
