Party Recap...
When we started planning Molly's party she said she wanted to have something fancy. I tried to give her just that. We decided on a tea party. Molly likes sports and likes to hunt with her dad, but she is still a girly girl in so many ways. This was her golden birthday, so that meant everything had to be just so. It also meant that everything had to be golden.
Party Highlights
Best Moment
Watching Molly at the head of the table like such a proper little lady. Very much the little socialite!
What People Ate
My husband and I acted as servers after the girls were seated. We served finger foods from crystal platters.
What People Drank
The girls had fruit tea in sparkly golden goblets with their meal and then we served punch from my grandmother’s punch bowl when it was time for cake.
The Cake.
Molly and I had looked through cake decorating books and she decided that she wanted a cake with pillars. We told Carla we wanted a cake with pillars with the golden theme and this is what she came up with. Just beautiful!
