Party Recap

It's going to be
BIG & BAD
and the most fun
you've ever had!

I absolutely fell in love with this invitation by Kori Clark. Kori's printable collection perfectly coordinated with my vision for a preppy, modern monster truck party.

Welcome to Monster Jam 8, a monster truck birthday party full of fun activities, sweets, & lots of dirt! The dessert table featured a mud splattered cake by Samantha's Sweets. Sam created a 2 tier cake with tire treads running up over sides and top to look like a monster truck ran over the cake! Mini trophies were filled with spare tires (a.k.a mini oreos) and gorgeous cookies by Frog Prince Cake and Cookie Design. The kids loved these tire cups from Birthday Express. I added 2" circles from Kori Clark to the tires to complete the look. The ribbon garlands and ruffle topiaries made by Sweet Georgia Sweet added a preppy, modern feel to the party. The kids had a blast decorating monster trucks with puffy paints, acrylic paints, and stickers. I am totally impressed with the quality of these kits. The trucks are push backs and really can run over stuff! I enlarged this print from Kori Clark and made it into a "pin the circle on the wheel" game.
Anyone who was able to pin the circle into the wheel won a prize. The kids took home their customized monster trucks as well as favor boxes filled with monster truck oil (slime), oversize bouncy balls, stickers, and party horns.
