Party Recap...
Peyton loves all things involving super hero's but he especially loves Captain America. So having a red, white and blue, Americana Super Hero Party was in order. We had a blast planning this party for him! He insisted that his guests come dressed as super hero's and he was also very adamant that we MAKE a pinata. We played "Save the world" where the kids followed clues to find a secret weapon and and save the world from the terrible doom of Red Skull, and were given medals of honor in reward. There was also a very competitive game of musical shields, to the sound track of Captain America the movie. They also got to make their own super hero protective shields. We ended the party with shaved ice from Bahama Bucks! The kids had a blast!
Party Highlights
Funniest Moment
The kids trying to crack the pinata was great! It took about 3-4 rounds of the each taking a couple of whacks at it for it to finally break, we were starting to think it was impenetrable, like Captain America.
What People Ate
Snacks and lots of sweets!
Dessert
The dessert bar was full of sweets such as cupcakes, candy, cookies, cake pops and more candy. We also had Bahama Bucks shaved ice.
Activities / Games
"Save the World" Game Musical Shields Make Your Own Shield Pinata!
Party Favors
The kids were given Captain America Puzzles and their bags of candy from the pinata as well as their medals from the "Save the world" game and their shields from the craft.

Adorable party! My son is also obsessed with Captain America and is begging for a party with this theme! Thanks for some great inspiration!
