When I asked my oldest daughter what kind of party she wanted for her 6th Birthday, she said "Pink! Pink, Pink, Pink!" Anyone with a daughter will enjoy this fun theme based on the "pinkeriffic" book series by Victoria Kann. My daughter isn't quite ready for a sleepover but she wanted to do a pajama party so we went with a Pinkalicious Pajama Party. The kids were encouraged to wear pajamas (pink ones if they have them). We enjoyed a pink dinner, played "pinkatastic" games, did several perfectly pink crafts, had "purplicious" pedicures, feasted on pink cupcakes and had fun with a cupcake shaped pinata. The best part, at the end of the night, the kids were already in their pj's and ready for bed when their parents came to pick them up! We all agreed this was our favorite party yet!
Everyone wins a prize here. They all embraced the pink theme and showed up in pink pajamas
Guests decorated their own pink cupcakes
Activities / Games
Picture Frame decorating, "Pin the Cherry on the Cupcake", Pedicures, Gingerbread Decorating, Pinata
Purplicious nail polish and purple or pink flip flops, cupcake picture frames, pink gingerbread house, pinata goodies (candy, notepads, pencils, etc)
My favorite moment was seeing the looks of excitement and fun on each guests face as they worked on their crafts and played games
What People Ate
Guests enjoyed pizza, carrots with pink ranch dip, and fruit with pink fruit dip
What People Drank
Shirley Temples and pink lemonade
After pedicures were over, the guests put on princess crowns and pink feather boas and posed for a true diva picture. Pinkalicious would have been proud!
