Party Recap

We celebrated Ryan's 1st year by throwing him a Red & Aqua Little Red Wagon Party!

Party Highlights

  • Desserts

I made my son's smash cake myself and we offered cupcakes to the guests (purchased at Sam's) I also made oreo balls and rice krispie treats covered in aqua vanilla candy melts.

  • Activities / Games

In the backyard I had a water table and little tikes playset that the kiddos could play on. I also set out a large aqua tarp/blanket with a bunch of Ryan's toys. It was really hot so a lot of the kids ended up inside playing in the living room with toys.

  • Party Favors

All kids received a custom Red Wagon coloring book from Gaddie and Tood. And all guest received a custom red wagon cookie made by SugarBee Sweets.

  • What People Ate

I wanted to keep the food simple and didn't want to turn my oven on for a thing! It's been over 100 degrees for the past 28 days and I didn't need anything heating our house up! We served chick-fil-a nuggets, sandwhiches from jimmy johns, kolaches from a yummy local donut shop, and fruit. We also had animal crackers and goldfish for the little ones.

  • What People Drank

Non-alcoholic drinks included water, iced tea, apple juice and lemonade. We also offered beer and margaritas. Guests could chose from jalapeno lime, pineapple basil or prickly pear margaritas!
