I wasn't going to have a party for my daughter for her birthday this year. Then my brother sent me 45 McDonald's Smurf toys, so I decided to have Smurfday dinner for her (Friday). Two days before the dinner my husband and I decided to have some kids over for a play date. So I threw this all together on a very small budget. But it was so fun!

Dinner Menu I printed descriptions on labels, that's in parenthesis. Grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches cut into strips (Handy Smurf's Toadstool Depot 2x4's) Jalapeno poppers (Gutsy Smurf's "Can you handle the heat poppers") Carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, sprouts, radishes and sip (Gardener Smurfs Toadstool Garden) Meatballs and Chili garlic dipping sauce (Hefty's dumb bells) Milk (Smurfberry juice- only I spaced making it blueberry milk) Cupcakes with marshmallow fondant toadstools (Baker Smurf was on the label, I forgot what it was) Party Menu blueberry lemonade grapes pretzels cupcakes ice cream candy for menu http://pleasegivepeasachance.blogspot.com/2011/09/smurfday-dinner.html

Budget
I used serving dishes I already had. Scrap booking paper, labels and ribbon I had stashed to make signs and labels. I KNEW I saved those for a reason ;) I did buy 6 milk glasses from Ikea for $1.50 and I bought some candy for the table. (Dinner was just for us the night before)
