We had the cupcakes made from a bakery. They were classic vanilla with buttercream icing. I believe the minnie heads were gumpaste.

Using a cricut machine to made the heads and bows and then used a mini foam adhesive to stick them on a ribbon tied around the napkin.

Hello! Beautiful ideas! Question how did you do the sign? Love it!

I bought the wooden stick and 3 rectangle pieces as is at Michael's and just painted a few times the color pink. After drying I bought stencils and painted over in black. My husband drilled some holes in each piece for me to tie ribbon. I hot glued the 3 pieces to the wooden stick and added some self adhesive big bows also purchased at Michael's.

Great idea! How did you create the hats and the months signs?

  • Heather C

    Heather C wrote:

I bought standard colored party hats and spray painted black. I cut out 2 circles for the ears and minnie bow with my cricut and then hot glued everything. I made slits in the sides of the party hats to insert the cut circles. I then hand wrote each guests name in white paint. The months sighs I used my cricut to duplicate the mickey head and bow and then chose a picture from NB-12 months and glued each one. I used ribbon in each ear to tie them together. Hope that helps!

Bow shapes were from my Cricut machine and the black party hats were purchased as an assorted variety of colors at Party City but my husband spray painted them black.
