Title: What baby girls are made of.
When my client told me the color palette was pink and lavender for a baby shower she was throwing for her best friend, I was instantly excited. I decided to add some lace to give it some texture. I also fell in love with the lavender fabric that I utilized as table runner on the table in foyer and on the diaper cake.

I came up with the design of the invitation and coordinating party printables and Printed Ink was able to execute it perfectly. We had Hershey wrappers coordinate with the items hanging from the clothesline as well. its important to me to incorporate baby name and/or initials so we did that on the bib of the wrapper and favor tags. The invitation was the inspiration for the decor. When you think of baby girls, you immediately think of pretty onesies, bears, booties, and bibs. Therefore, those are the elements we carried throughout along with, carriages, rattles, and pacifiers. We personalized the bib on the printables by adding baby's name. I love coordinating elements and tying them all in.

I like DIY projects and so I made the following: for the 3 tiered diaper cake I used pink ribbon, purple fabric, and white lace. I accented if by using purple beads. Satin pins kept it all together so well.
I also made the rattles with styrofoam that I found at the dollar store and used Wilton Popsicle sticks for the handle. I wrapped the rattles in stretchy lace and accented it with ribbon and the same beads that you see throughout the decor. The handle was wrapped with ribbon that I had used on other crafts for this decor as well. I used the rattles for the entrance as well as on the diaper cake. I spray painted pacifiers lavender in keeping with the color scheme. I also made the edible lifesaver pacifiers by following a tutorial on line. They consisted of homemade frosting, jellybeans, and lifesavers. I had so much fun making the onesie banner. I thought this could accent the nursery perfectly. Its girly and one of a kind! Also, I enjoyed making the personalized letters for the party and I make them so my clients can use them for their nursery as well.
