Thank you. I used the containers from baby puffs and covere them with felt to look like the hat. I put some rocks in so they wouldn't topple over in case of wind ;)

My glue gun is my best friend, after I glued all the stripes I cute a big circle and cut an X in the middle of the circle. I glued each V to the inside of the container and it helped to give the brim some movement too. Its really easy to do =)
Don't put too much glue since its hot it can burn through the container, hope it helps!

I was on a strict budget so I actually cut each strip and glued it one by one to save felt, I ended up spending $.50 on each container, but if you're not so tight I guess it'll be easier to do it that way =)
