Party Recap

I wanted to do something sophisticated and girlie for my daughters 2nd birthday party, so I thought pink and gold would do the trick. I had so much fun thinking of creative ways to display her initial and add little details throughout her party. I found a lot of ideas from Micheal's. I found little vases there that I covered with tacky glue and then rolled in glitter. Super easy and added a little pop to the table scape. My favorite feature was the photo display on the fireplace and the "2" marshmallows I made. I love how they turned out and they tasted even better.

Thank you! The high chair came from a garage sale and I just painted it aqua. The two banner, I made. The tassels are made out of a dollar store table cloth. The two was made out of scrap booking paper. I printed T W O on printer paper and traced it onto the scrap booking paper and cut it out.

For those asking about the gold frames. I purchased from Micheal's, they are 4x6 light wooden frames. Like the ones shown here: http://www.michaels.com/artminds-wooden-laser-cut-frame-ivy-4in-x-6in/10266671.html#q=wooden+frames&start=12 I spread tacky glue all over the frame and then covered with loose glitter. Very easy.

Table cloth was bought at a fabric store, it was discounted. Try look at the fabric store, this was just some fabric I draped over a white table cloth. The white one was bought from Amazon.

Banner I made myself. I used pink table clothes from the dollar store to make the tassles. There are tutorials online. Then I printed letters T W O on sheets of paper and traced it on glittered scrapbooking paper (the really thick kind). I cut out the letters and just strung it all together.
