Party Recap

I can't believe my sweet girls Aliyah and Kailee are 6 now. We celebrated their birthday with a Lego Themed Party. At first, I tried to convince them to pick a different theme since I couldn't come up with any great ideas. However, they kept insisting, and wouldn't let go of the theme. So, after hours of searching online, and demanding my brain to hit the "on" button I finally came up with a design for the Lego Themed Party. The first thing I did was create their party invitation. I wanted something different then the typical colors used for Lego Parties. I wanted something a bit more girly, and I knew I could count on my girls for that! The girls picked out the color scheme and everything else seemed to follow. I absolutely love the color scheme they picked out. Bright pink, teal, black, lime green, and soft purple turned out to be a beautiful color combination. I designed all the printables, invitations, cupcake toppers, labels, favor tags, and the lego man coloring sheets. I baked and decorated all the cookies, lego head pops, cake, and cupcakes. I even made the Lego candy. I blistered my fingers melting the crayons for the the lego men crayons. The kids had fun making lego magnets, building the highest lego tower, going on a lego scavenger hunt, and eating lots of goodies. Then they got to go home with gumballs in a tube party favor, along with lego men crayons and a coloring sheet. I think my girls had a very special birthday! I hope you enjoy the pictures. The Lego Party Collection is available in my Etsy Shop.
