What an amazing party, all the details are fantastic!! Did you design all the signs and labels? They look so authentic! :)
Oops - just saw the printables source on your party helpers. Great job!
Serendipity Soiree, designed our awesome Hogwarts Express Train Ticket invites and the cupcake toppers that I used in the Sorting hat ceremony as buttons. Chickabug created THE perfect custom border in a variety of sizes for me. I then added the text for all the signs and labels. Both Catherine of Serendipity and Heather of Chickabug, are amazing girls to work with !!!
OMG! what you do with this party is awesome! Great job!!!
LOVED your party decorations! Wondering how you made the checkered banners? Or, did you order them? If so, would love to know your source. I'm organizing a Harry Potter party for my son's 6th birthday.
Hi Michelle Thanks for your kind words! I made those banners myself : ) If you'd like I can totally explain to u how I made them ... let me know !
Hi Sue - Wow ... that's impressive, actually everything about your party was impressive!! Yes, it would be great to know how you made them. My email is michmfern@hotmail.com. If you email me, I can provide you my phone #, or we can continue to chat via email. Thanks Sue!!
Hi Sue!! I LOVE this party!!! My daughter wants a Harry Potter party this year and boy do I need help! Can I ask where you purchased your fabulous photo booth props? Boy do I wish you lived near Chicago so I could hire you to plan my party!!! :) You did such and AMAZING job!!! Thanks so much! Kate
Sue, I just realized you wrote that you made the banners yourself. Any chance you could email me so I could ask you a few more questions? My e-mail is: katebogot@katebogot.com
Hi! This is a SUPER party! Can I ask where the wand boxes came from or if you made them could you tell me how? and the Ollivander stickers. my email is telheddeny@yahoo.com
I would love to know how you made the terrific banner and wand boxes. We are working on our 2nd Harry Potter party since the first was so fun, and I need some new ideas and decorations. Thanks! Jennifer (jgruen@optonline.net)
First I have to say what a great feeling it is to still be getting WOW's from a party you did almost a year ago !!! AMAZING! THANK YOU ! So, as for the wand boxes, those i made following a tutorial I found online. Let me see if I can find it again and I will post the link. I will say they are VERY time consuming, but the end result is extremely worth it : ) The Olivander stickers I found by doing a google search, I'll look for that also. As for the banner, super easy to make ... I did a search in google images for the colors of each HOUSE. I down loaded the image into paint and printed it out FULL PAGE. Turn the paper landscape and cut into 3 even columns. I slightly bent the paper in half and cut a small angle at the bottom. Using twine I had found at the $ store, I folded the top of the paper over it, glued it and POOF ... my banner ! LOL LOL LOL I will try and gather up some of these links and will post them. Thanks again girls ! Sue
Hi Sue! I was wondering if you had been able to track down the tutorial for the Ollivander's Wands boxes? Fantastic party!! My son's Harry Potter birthday is coming up soon, I am so excited! - Pam
