Party Recap

When my daughter asked for a sprinkles birthday party for her 3rd birthday, I couldn't be more excited. Sprinkles! YES! Now why didn't I think of that?? I used about 12 pounds of sprinkles throughout the party, on treats and in decor. Good thing I have access to bulk sprinkles through a local restaurant supply!

I love this! Love it! Was this just with toothpicks? Would you recommend working bottom to top?

Actually I used royal icing, and worked bottom to top. With such little kids around, I didn't want to risk toothpicks. I have a tutorial on my blog, if you're interested. The link is in my profile.

Where did you get all the sprinkles from? I am throwing my sister a "sprinkle" for her 2nd baby and fell in love with everything you did for this party! But I am having a hard time finding where to buy the sprinkles in bulk!

I bought some from my local cake decorating supply, but most of them I bought from a local restaurant supply called Restaurant Depot. Best prices by far!

I sure did! This is probably the least elaborate cake I've made in years, actually. ;-) But it seemed right for the sprinkles party.

Wow, I'm speechless - this party is absolutley adorable!! It's perfect for a 3yr. old and best of all it's what the birthday girl wanted. Everything, including the crafts was done age appropriate which is so nice to see and the budget wasn't outragous (always a plus, and again, so nice to see). Wonderful Job - Very Talented!!!
